LuGuz-The Colonic (Project/Album)
"The Colonic" to put in a simple term is a musical cleansing. This project was not planned or forced, it was simply an organic process. I never set out to make "The perfect song" or Perfect album", but rather just make music that reflects myself at the time and describes memorable pieces of my life. There was never a plan or tactic when I went in the studio. One day I would knock out three or four songs, while other days myself and DJ Klapton would spend one day on a whole entire record from production to vocals. I would have to say that this recording process has been the most enjoyable experience in my entire career. I named it "The Colonic" because I almost felt that recording this music was a cleanse for me. A way to introduce everyone to original LuGuz content. This project symbolizes the culmination of who I am as an artist as well as a person. I hope you will appreciate and embrace the project as much as I enjoyed creating it. Thank you. GIVE US THE PROPER CREDIT!
After listening to track #12 for a few seconds on Jim Jones new project "The Ghost of Rich Porter" I realized that was a beat I sent to BGTracks@gmail.com in 08 from a producer I manage by the name of Starscream. I quickly searched for the back cover to see if they had given him credit and to my shock, they had gave the credit to producer Digga. Digga? You mean they gave the credit to a producer who has multiple tracks and credit already under his belt? I'm sure if you ask Digga, he'll tell you he didnt produce the beat. I'm sure it was just a lazy move and a last minute decision when they were doing the artwork for the project but thats no excuse not to give the proper producer his CREDIT. We are just looking for the proper credit. Any light you can shed on this situation would be greatly appreciated! Thnx

Jay-Z Breaks Ground for Nets in BK
History! It's official. The NJ Nets will be saying goodbye to Dirty Jers and will be saying, Hello Brooklyn,How You Doing? I think it just hit me, even though I have known for quite some time now that the Jiggaman had plans to bring the Nets to Brooklyn. Jay-Z, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Rev. Al Sharpton, Governor David Paterson broke ground on the future home of the Nets earlier today. Check out the vids below.
