I met Shine when Crack Distributors Radio was still @ Pace University. I can say he definitely left a impression on me on how cool and humble of a person he was. He didn't know LuGuz from a can of paint, other than hearing a few songs and gave Lu a shot. That interview video of Lu @ Crack Distributors was the first thing posted @ Nahright.com of LuGuz (CLICK HERE TO CHECK THAT OUT). So that was definitely a good look. So that last post inspired this one. I remember hearing Queen Latifah when I was a young kid and didn't know what she was speaking about and didn't care whether she was a female or not. I liked her music. Point blank. I've always been a fan, whether its her music or her movies. But nothing takes me back like some of these videos below. This post is dedicated to, legendary Jersey native, Queen Latifah. Oh and if you didn't know her new movie "Just Wright" is in theaters now.

This was very informative. I did not know that Mark The 45 King was from Jersey. If you don't know, Mark is the producer behind huge hit records such as Eminem's "Stan",Jay-Z's "Hard Knock Life" and of course "The 900 Number". Most of all, Mark was able to get Queen Latifah her deal and that open up the gates for the other original Flavor Unit groups Naughty By Nature,Black Sheep & Lakim Shabazz. Shouts to Queen Latifah for jump starting a whole Jersey movement as well. Legendary!
